Quotes and fees are always customized to fit the individual needs of each client. Once I have a sense of what you are looking for, the location, and a general time-frame, I can offer a specific rate for your event. I base my rates on the time commitment on the day-of as well as the time needed to properly prepare.

Below I will detail three of the most common service bundles along with the typical fee range. I prefer to offer services as a package rather than á la carte. This helps keep costs down and increases the value of the booking for clients.

For a consultation and personalized quote please don't hesitate to contact.

NOTE - In an effort to keep things simple I offer all my rates as "flat" rates. I would never charge extra for anything unexpected after booking (i.e. travel expenses, booking fees, overtime, etc.). I also try to include many "add-ons" in my flat rates, mostly logistical items that help things go smoothly (i.e. wireless microphone, mic stand, sound/amplification, etc.).

Please inquire and book early!  Every year countless requests are turned down on account of availability.  Also, the earlier you book, the more time you have to adjust and refine your package.  A deposit is required to hold the date but the invoice can be revised to reflect your needs until 2 weeks prior to the performance.

A note on wedding-music vendor fees and costs

When I first went into music, I did so for the love of the art; I soon realized that business, marketing, and accounting were an essential part of the job. I've since learned a lot! I've researched, reflected, and revised my approach and feel confident that I've come to a fee structure that is fair and comfortable for both parties. If you have any questions regarding how I have arrived at a specific quote don't hesitate to ask!

There are many surveys and statistics readily available on-line regarding the typical costs of wedding vendors.  Some appear to be objective while the objectivity of many others is highly questionable.  Regardless, most of these claim the average wedding costs around $28,000; ceremony music alone (not including cocktail hour or reception) comes in around an average of $500-$600 with additional travel, meal, and accommodation expenses (reception bands are cited anywhere from $1200-$3500).  For perspective, note that wedding invitations also come in between $500-$600.

As you shop for wedding music, remember that low prices do not always reflect a bargain and high prices do not always reflect quality. Listen carefully to recordings, examine qualifications, read resumés, and confirm your findings with an email or phone conversation to make sure your vendor is responsive, clear, and professional.
